Delin Yu is a doctoral student at the School of Psychology, South China Normal University, and has also served as a research assistant to Bin Yin, PhD., at Fujian Normal University. His research interests focus on the impact of early life experiences, particularly traumatic experiences, on emotional development and its mechanisms. He aims to address this issue through research at three levels. At the intergroup level, he employs meta-analysis to identify key events of trauma. At the interindividual level, he uses longitudinal survey studies to determine the processes through which traumatic experiences exert their effects. At the intraindividual level, he designs rodent models to establish causal relationships between traumatic experiences and emotional development outcomes.
