Edmund H Jooste, MB.Ch.B, DA is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Pediatrics at Duke Children's Hospital, Duke University. Dr Jooste trained at Columbia University in New York City where he completed his Residency and Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship. His initial research interest was in muscle relaxants and airway reactivity but now has a clear clinical and research focus in congenital cardiac anesthesia. He is currently the Clinical Director of Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia at Duke Children's. Dr Jooste is an active member in the Society of Pediatric anesthesia as well as the Congenital Cardiac anesthesia society.
