Dr. Gary Cheung is an academic old age psychiatrist at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. He is interested in postgraduate psychiatry training and research to improve the well-being of older people. His current research projects include cognitive interventions in dementia, the lived experience of people with dementia, suicide in older adults, psychosocial group therapy for older adults with loneliness, and big data analysis using the interRAI database.
