Jack Richards SEAMEO, RELC, Singapore

Dr. Jack Richards is an internationally renowned specialist in second and foreign language teaching, an applied linguist and educator, the author of numerous professional books for English language teachers, and the author of many widely used textbooks for English language students. He has held senior positions in universities in Hong Kong, Hawaii and New Zealand and is currently honorary professor at universities in New Zealand and Australia. He has published widely in the fields of language teacher education, curriculum development, and methodology, and many of his academic books have been translated into Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Arabic, and Spanish. As Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Richards provides technical expertise and direction to ensure the quality and relevance of the RELC Journal.
