Professor Louise Whittaker lectures in the areas of information systems, research methodology, and philosophy of information systems at Wits Business School, Johannesburg, South Africa. Her current teaching interests and research are focused on critical interpretations of information systems and management issues, in particular the organisational and social effects of information systems. She is also interested in qualitative research methodology, and phenomenology in particular.
