Dr. Sabyasachi Bhattacharya, Chief Editor, Indian Historical Review, formerly Professor of History at Jawaharlal University (1976-2003), Chairman of the Indian Council of Historical Research (2007-2011), and Vice-Chancellor, Visva-Bharati University (1991-1995), is currently the Tagore National Fellow, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.
