Robert M. Goodman, PhD Indiana University, Bloomington, USA

Robert Goodman is Professor of Applied Health Science and former Dean of the School of Public Health at Indiana University, Bloomington. A Past President and Distinguished Fellow of the Society for Public Health Education, Dr. Goodman has held faculty appointments at several universities, including the University of Pittsburgh, Tulane, Wake Forest, Xavier, and the Universities of North Carolina and South Carolina. He has written extensively on issue concerning community health development, community capacity, community coalitions, evaluation methods, organizational development, and the institutionalization of health programs. He has been the Principal Investigator or evaluator on projects funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Cancer Institute, Centers for Substance Abuse Prevention and the Children’s Defense Fund.
