Mary Quirke is a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Education at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.  Mary is a qualified career guidance counsellor and healthcare professional, having worked with AHEAD (a non-governmental organization advocating for the inclusion of people with disabilities in further and higher education, and in the workplace) as Assistant Director for over 15 years.  Mary has actively engaged with UD and UDL for many years.  Mary is a recognised expert in the areas of inclusive education and employment – built upon over many years through active engagement with learners, teachers, and employers in Ireland and internationally.  Mary’s primary research interests include UDL, career guidance/professional practice development, and inclusive practices.
