Dana Wilson-Kovacs is a senior lecturer in the Department of Sociology, Philosophy and Anthropology at the University of Exeter. She is a qualitative sociologist whose recent interests took her into studying the application and governance of technological innovation and local negotiations of regulation, especially in the use of forensic technologies in policing. Among other topics, she has published widely on professional trajectories and shifts, more recently in biomedicine and forensic technologies. Her current project looks at the development of digital forensics in policing.
