TAQA, and other assessor and quality assurer trainees will find this text both an invaluable resource for their course and useful handbook to take into practice. Good, practical book
My learners find this book very beneficial to aid their learning.
This book is recommended for any teacher or assessor who wants to take the TAQA qualification. The knowledge of robust formative and summative assessment and developmental feedback is necessary for all teachers, trainers and assessors.
Very similar to previous book, with updates based on changes and current legislation.
The only book you really need to pass your TAQA units. Clearly laid out and well structured.
A good practical text for learners
I have recommended this book to staff studying for the IQA qualification. It is very informative and supportive for their continued studies.
Although I do not directly teach the TAQA units the book is useful to inform me on the content so I can advise teacher trainees accordingly.
This text has been recommended to our students and our chief librarian is intending to order a batch for the september cohorts in 2014. we as a teaching staff have already started to use the text which has informed lesson planning.
Thank you.
The book is well structured and the internal quality assurance qualifications well laid out. Assessor checklist particularly effective, with plenty of case study examples to engage readers, as well as extension activities. Essential reading.
