This is an excellent introduction to the literature review process for PhD students and masters level students
Overall, this is excellent, especially the examples provided in the text. It is short, sharp and to the point. Love the chapter on critical thinking, excellent material.
Helpful not only to the students but to me as well
Great improvements to the latest version! This book is in all my lists of recommended reading especially to all Masters and PhD students for their dissertations and thesis.
This is a useful guide and one which I recommend to those students i supervise.
Very accessible, offering a good balance between theory and practice.
An easy to read text, well set out that should allow the novice to go step by step through the process.
A very useful guide for new researchers.
Very good book as a guideline
I think that this book on doing a literature review is helpful for students at all levels. I recommend it to students studying research methods at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and when they are doing a research project or dissertation. I'm particularly pleased that new aspects are being covered in the 2nd ed such as doing a systematic literature review. Doing a literature review can be challenging at every level and this book is a really great resource for students.
