Dr. Dominic Malcolm

Dominic Malcolm is Senior Lecturer in the Sociology of Sport in the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences. Following a Politics degree at Nottingham University, Dominic studied for a Masters in the Sociology of Sport at the University of Leicester. On completion of the Masters he was appointed Research Associate in the Centre for Research into Sport and Society, where he subsequently became Lecturer and Director of Masters Programmes. He completed his PhD at Leicester in December 2004.

SAGE Publishing is delighted to announce that Understanding Narrative Inquiry: The Crafting and Analysis of Stories as Research, by Dr. Jeong-Hee Kim, has received the Outstanding Publication Award from the Narrative Research Special Interest Group (SIG) of the American Educational Research Association (AERA). The award honors research-based texts dedicated to advancing the educational process through research or scholarly inquiry.

Los Angeles, CA - SAGE and the Urban Affairs Association (UAA) are delighted to announce that Dr. Christine Drennon, Director of the Urban Studies Program at Trinity University, is the 2014 winner of the UAA-SAGE Marilyn Gittell Activist Scholar Award. Dr. Drennon will be honored at the 2014 UAA Annual Conference held in San Antonio, Texas March 19-22, 2014.
